Hello all my wonderful readers!!! 

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week gearing up for turkey day!!! And for those who don’t celebrate it I hope everything is gearing up to have an amazing week!!! 

The time of year has come where we start to celebrate the year and life and today is no different!!! 

I'm here today to kick off my weeklong celebration of my first blogoversary!!! Yea you read that right I have been doing this for 365 days (actually a little more because my first post was on November 16th) 

I'm so happy and I can’t believe how far my tiny little blog has come. It all started after I read Down The Rabbit Hole a few times and got to the point where I was tired of participating in her memes through the comments and thought oh hey I can blog too that looks easy (seriously I lie to myself way too much!) Well there has been nothing easy about it but I have had a blast this past year getting to know more and more book lovers and discovering some great authors. 

My life is totally different from where it was a year ago and I have to say that is sure is better with all the friends I have made along the way!! 

So like I said this is going to happen all week!!! I have some great post planned and some wonderful giveaways planned (seriously I need to get rid of a lot of books!!!) 

Today I'm going to talk about ME!!! Haha well the blog. Just give you some blog stats and amazing milestones that have happened. There have been more but I just can’t remember them all!! Today is just a recap of everything. And a kick off to the giveaway!!! And don’t worry I won’t forget all of my international followers too!!! I'm kind of poor right now but I will do my best to get you something AWESOME!!!!!!! 

Milestones 

• Became friends with some amazing authors: Tara Fuller, Wendy Higgins, Jennifer L. Armentrout, B.C. Morin, Toni Aleo, Brodi Ashton, and many many more I forgot!!! Please tell me if I forgot ya so I can remember and brag more! 
• Got to be an advocate in the YA Crush Tourney for Kaidan Rowe which lead to EPICNESS with my crush pick/model and Wendy 
• First requested ARC fulfillment from Spencer Hill Press: Deity, Cursed, and Betrayed 
• Became best friends with other local bloggers and my local indie bookstore and have gotten to go to some AMAZING author events! 
• Hit 50 followers on 12/27/2011 and hit 200 during the giveaway 
• Hit 500 followers on 6/4/2012 and hit 700 during the giveaway 

And so much more. This blogging world has opened up so many opportunities for me and I am truly a better person for knowing everyone that has come my way!

On days I feel like giving up, or times when I don’t feel I have truly lived up to the Tater reputation or I don’t feel like I'm giving you 100%, I get a comment like that and I push past it. You all have given me such a great gift to be able to speak my mind about how I feel and about what I love. You have embraced me with open arms into this blogging world and I am forever grateful that at least one other person loves my blog as much as I do.

So I'm going to stop my acceptance speech now because the music is playing me off. I just can’t thank you all enough!! I know that I have missed a lot of people and I just want you to know I think of you all!! Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire

Seriously this like pretty much hands down my favorite book of all time!!!! Anyone that has talked to me knows that I am ALWAYS recommending this book to anyone that will listen and I am so proud that this baby got picked up by a big pub!! I cant stand how amazing this book is!!! For reals I have like 5 copies of this book and preordered my super special hard cover!! I have the original self-pub paperback, the new paperback, the audiobook and again my hard cover coming!! I love Travis, he is my perfect book husband and I just love it!!! Makes me swoon so hard anytime I see this baby.

The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Talk about a total mind blowing experience!!! I love this series so hard and I also cant stand how amazing it is. I know I said that BD was my top book, but really its shares a spot with this series. And honestly the others on this list, I can no pick a favorite book. It’s impossible. This series and characters is so complex and amazing, I just die!!!! I love this series so hard its ridiculous!

Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins

Anytime someone tells me that they haven’t read this book I pretty much grow another ulcer. Wendy is seriously one of the coolest authors around and this book is just a totally mind fuck (excuse the language but when demons of lust and evilness are involved, I'm sure I have a bit of a leeway with the bad language) Speaking of Lusty demons, lets take a moment to talk about Kaidan. Hey baby!!! Oh lord!! Yea he is pretty much one of the reasons this book is extraordinary spectacular!!!

The Assassin Series by Toni Aleo

Rounding out my most amazing reads are my beloved hockey romance books. Not only is there totally AMAZING hot steamy scenes, but the character in these books are so dynamic and complex and the world is so rich and amazing, I just love these books! That and miss Toni is really one of my newest and most amazing best friends! You need some many alphas to keep you warm on the upcoming cold nights, crack the spines of these books. Mmm man! Totally yummieness!

Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGurie

This book really started it all. I didn’t know what I was missing in my reading until I read this book, and as Travis says, I’ll never be the same.

Any book by Abbi Glines!!!!!! But especially the Sea Breeze Series

I loved the Vincent Boys series and even the early Sea Breeze books (Breathe and Because of Low) but was BLEWN away by While it Lasts and Just for Now. Once she took of the restriction of YA, she really shined in her books. I always look forward the latest Abbi book and mmmmm lets take a moment and talk about Cage York. I would love to be in a room with him and Travis. Ooooooh a girl can dream!

In Honor by Jessi Kirby

Oh boy. Talk about emotional reads! I love Jessi and her books always touch my heart. I can’t say much about her books because I always feel like crying when I think of her books. They are just amazing.

Books I should have loved but didn’t care for

I just can’t even go here with these books. I know I'm going to get scalded for this but that is what is great about this platform, I am free to hold my own opinion. Both of these just I don’t think they were bad, but they came with extremely high expectations and just didn’t life up to it for me.

Covenant Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Now I know I would have read her Lux series, because HELLO have you seen that cover?!?! And I admit it, I am a cover whore. If you cover isn’t too good I most likely wont pick up your book. It sucks but that is how I work. And this cover series isn’t that eye catching. So I might have passed up this series if it wasn’t for some of the amazing recommendations form others!

The Vincent Boys Series by Abbi Glines

Remember what I sad, about being a cover whore??? Well it again applies to this series. While the original covers aren’t horrible, there was just something off about them. I might not have ever picked them up. But like I said, without recommendations I wouldn’t have. But I'm so glad I did. Although now that she got picked up by S&S (BIG OL CONGRATS!!!) and the new covers are like WOW I want to take them to bed, I would have gotten to them. but I'm so glad I did before because I love Abbi!!!

Anything by Tara Fuller

So, Tara and I have become quite the pair over this past year. I might have eventually read her books, but I was on the book tour for her first book Perigee Moon (which is totally fucking amazing) so I literally wouldn’t have read it without blogging. But I am so glad, because without that, there would be no Wonder Tara’s and what kind of world would we be in without that amazing duo???

I really could stay here all day and talk about books, but I will leave it there. There have been very few books where I totally hate them and don’t love. I am a very new reader and love discovering all the amazing stories out there.

The time has come to wrap up my celebration!! This week has been so much fun I cant stand it!! I love you all and I am truly blessed to have you all as my readers!!!

Today I am going to wrap things up with a bit of author love. This week has been all about love and thanks. I feel like a hippie! But one that showers and uses deodorant.

I'm going to spotlight a few authors that have changed my world and are just beyond fantastical! And not to mention, some actually love me back!!!!

Up first is one that still makes me go all giggly pants crazy!

Wendy Higgins

Wendy Higgins quickly shot to the top of my list as favorite author because seriously, have you read her book?? I mean one word:

KAIDAN FUCKING ROWE!

OK that was 3 words but its still one character!!!

Aside from the fact that she created a hot as hell character, Sweet Evil is the best debut of the year and one of my favorite reads of all time!!!

Since we got to work on the YA Crush Tourney together, Wendy and I have quickly become great friends (here go my giggly parts)

Why I love Me Some Tara:

I met Tara when she was Kaidan’s advocate for the YA Crush Tourney this summer (2012). Tara jumped right into the deep end for me—arms flailing, shouting at the top of her lungs, gung-ho crazy, making a big ole splash. I loved her immediately. Her passion for Kai, and book hawties in general, just warmed my little author heart.

Tara found some HOTT pictures of a model who was abso-freakin-lutly a perfect fit for Kai, and we used them for the tourney. The model’s name was Wade Poezyn. I *might* have stalked him a little, and when he responded to me, giving us permission to use his pictures, and just being an all around nice guy, I ran straight to Tara and swooned on her facebook wall. That’s right. Tara had become more than just a blogger to me. She’d become my friend. Someone I could squee with. Someone who “got me” and my stories. Someone who would land me in trouble with my husband when he pulled up my Pinterest page and saw all the nearly-nekkid men recently pinned to her infamous swoon board. Hahaha. *sigh* Good times.

Friendship is a give and take of support and laughter. I’m so glad to be friends with Tater.

I have always said that individuals named Tara have it better in life. And I know when I picked up a book by Tara Fuller I was in for a treat. And what I wasn’t expecting was my total epic relationship with her!!! Tara and I have quickly become great friends and I look forward to all of her books!! She is so awesome and epic!! But like I said, what else would you expect from someone named Tara!!!

So from my other half of the Wonder Tara’s

It takes a team of supportive people for me to write books. And one of the most of important components of my team are book bloggers. They encourage me, support my work, and get as crazy over fictional characters as I do. And I am thankful for every single one of them. But today, it’s all about the love, and I’d like to give a shout out to one of my very favorite book bloggers on the YA block. Tara Turner and her fabulous blog, Tater's Tall Tails Tara has always been on my team, showing my books and me love and support. Her reviews are brilliant. Her blog is unique. And Tara as a person is nothing short of wonderful. I consider her not only my go to book blogger, but a cherished friend. And I am beyond grateful to have this girl in my corner. This last author, there aren’t enough words in the world to express my love for her! Its hard to believe what my life was like without her because she has quickly become one of my best friends! Except when our hockey teams have to play each other. Then we are mortal enemies for a hour. But I have always said yellow and teal go together!

I love Toni and she loves me!!! Separate we are awesome, but together we are EPIC!!!!

The great thing about bloggers is not only do they inform us on the awesomeness of books and entertain us with their humor, but most of them are really great people. Not only is Tara a great blogger, but she is a great friend. I had the opportunity to become close with Tara through blogging after she reviewed my first two books, Taking Shots and Trying to Score. We are like two twins separated at birth and we get along so great. Sometimes she knows what I am trying to say and helps me to get it out to everyone. I am always there for her when she needs to talk and she does the same for me. We are really great friends and I dont know what I would do without her. Not only do I look to her as my friend but also my critque partner. She was a idea wall through the writing process of Empty Net, and has continued that roll with Blue Lines. I dont know what I would do without her. She really is a godsend.

So not only is she a great blogger, a great critque partner, and almost reviewer, she is also my very close friend.
