Undeadly Blog Tour: Guest Post: Citizens for Zombie Rights & Giveaways!

by Michele Vail
She’s to die for

The day I turned 16, my boyfriend-to-be died.

I brought him back to life.

Then things got a little weird...

Molly Bartolucci wants to blend in, date hottie Rick and keep her zombieraising abilities on the down-low. Then the god Anubis chooses her to becomea reaper—and she accidentally undoes the work of another reaper, Rath. Within days, she’s shipped off to the Nekyia Academy, an elite school that trains the best necromancers in the world. And her personal reaping tutor? Rath. Who seems to hate her guts.

Rath will be watching closely to be sure she completes her first assignment—reaping Rick, the boy who should have died. The boy she still wants to be with. To make matters worse, students at the academy start turning up catatonic, and accusations fly—against Molly.

The only way out of this mess? To go through hell. Literally.

Citizens for Zombie Rights
The Citizens for Zombie Rights takes our mission very seriously. While the law does not recognize that zombies are people (at least, not anymore), we believe that society should remember that zombies were people—and deserve humane and compassionate treatment. If you are among the living populace that believe zombies should have the right to food, clothing, shelter, rest, and kindness, then you may be a good fit for our organization!
Our Mission Statement
Zombies for Citizen Rights believes in treating the dead with the same courteous and respect reserved for the living. We believe zombies should be made in legal facilities that follow all tenets of national and international protection laws, should be clothed and sheltered appropriately, and should not ever—for any reason—be abused verbally or physically. Zombie owners should be held accountable for their actions, especially if those actions lead to broken limbs, permanent scarring, loss of any body part, or repercussions of not caring for their zombies (such as not oiling the skin or forcing their zombies to walk around barefoot).
