Hello all my lovely tots! I hope you are enjoy the new year! I am here with a super special treat!! I have the wonderful Cole here for my stop on the Everbound blog tour!! Its quite a wonderful interview! So I hope you all enjoy!!

Well hello Cole, welcome to the house of Tater. I am so excited that you are here. I mean really, hey *wink wink* sorry. I'm a bit excited here.

So lets get started.

How are you doing today?

Excellent. (If this were a live interview, you’d hear me providing background music on my guitar. I think better that way.)

Oh sweetness you can still play your guitar for me any time. I never mind.

What’s your favorite emotion to feed on?

That’s a tough one. There are so many scrumptious ones. But I have to say… desperation. It’s so rich and layered, like an English trifle. I also like English trifles.

Do the emotions have a taste?

It’s hard to describe. It’s like trying to explain color to someone who is blind. How can you understand without a point of reference? But I can describe the differences between certain emotions. Some, like sadness and melancholy have a savory taste. Some, like joy and hope have more of a citrus taste.

This is fascinating!!!

You say you have been around a long time, what is something you witnessed that surprised even you?

I’m always surprised at the things humans give up in the name of ‘love’. Like when King Edward VIII abdicated the throne of England so he could marry the woman he loved. Really?

I think that love will surprise you one day…just a suspicion.

Why did you want to play music? I'm sure you could have chosen any career to have, or even have more than one, but you keep with music, why?

Music, the right kind of music, draws out the most delicious smorgasbord of emotions. I wouldn’t say I chose music for a career as much as I chose feasting.

Describe yourself in 3 words

Rational. Dedicated. Hungry.

Tell me something about you that we don’t learn about in the book?

I once spent a very special evening with a member of Spain’s royal family. I won’t say which one.

Aww come one sugar, you can tell me!

Describe the perfect day. Who would you be with and what would you do?

Easy. I’d be with Nikki. We’d spend the day ruling the Everneath.

If you could have one wish, no questions, what would it be and why?

I’d wish to play the same Gibson Flying V guitar that Jimi Hendrix played. Just for a day. A day is long enough for a wish.

One of my wishes would be to see you play that!

About Brodi:

Because of two parents who were Greek myth geeks, I grew up thinking the latest fashion trends were inspired by Aphrodite, and a good conversational opener was, “So, which mythological character do you most resemble?” Despite these social shortcomings, I found a great husband who’s always my first reader. We live in Utah with our two young boys, who still have no idea why I'm at the computer all the time.

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Utah and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
