On the outside, 17 year old Abby Lewis had it all. She was dating the HS Football star, had a best friend anybody would kill for and a love and passion for singing that would send her to Broadway. But on the inside a storm was raging inside of her that she could no longer hide. As her life at home became more unbearable she turned to the only rock she has ever known, Lucas. When her father abandoned her and her sister, Lucas was there to help her pick up the pieces. And now that her dad wants back in her life, Lucas will again be her source of strength. But she isn't his and Abby cant stand the thought of being anyone else's. Will she ever be able to let go of the past? Or will she let it control her for good?
Why I need this: WHAT?!?!?! So small confession here, this is my home girl!!! And I'm so proud of her!! This book just sounds so amazing and I totally love the cover! And AND! Another sexy guy named Lucas!!! I keep telling you folks, write a hot guy and name him Lucas and I will read your book! This just sounds like such an AMAZING contemporary read! Please everyone check out her book and be sure to add it to your pile!! She is a truely amazing woman and I seriously can't wait for this baby!!!

This is contemporary YA, and that's my favorite genre. This sounds like an interesting story. I wonder how Lucas and Abby know each other.
