A Week With Tater (31): The One with Onyx & Giveaway Winners

A Week with Tater is a culmination of Stalking The Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea and every other incarnation of showing off what your postman brought you. It's purpose is to encourage those lovers of books to share what came their way, by way of wining, begging, borrowing or buying.

What’s cracking dudettes (dudes if there are any male readers…are there any???) I'm not going to do a vlog today because I don’t feel like fighting the computer to get it loaded and crap. Besides I think I'm being punished for staying up late last night (or it was really early morning) because my allergies are acting up and you don’t want to see me all snotty! So you will just have to picture my fangirl moments the best ya can!!!

The past two weeks have been going great! I found a print your own blog planner and have been using it to get organized and to help me schedule post ahead of time (cuz damn if that doesn’t make blogging easier!) One thing it has helped me do is schedule my reviews! What's great about that is it’s making me accountable for writing more reviews!! I'm so proud of myself for posting 3 reviews in the past two weeks and I have more to come!! I'm so excited because they are really great!!!

So enough rambling, I’ll just get right to the books!!!

Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling- Soooooooooooooo I couldn’t help myself, I have been on a crazy HP movie watching binge and it has caused me to want to read the books again!!! It has been a while since I read them and I finished book 1 recently and am so ready for this one!!!

Wake by Amanda Hocking- So I totally grabbed this when it was a lightening deal on Amazon!! I got this sucker for 4 bucks!!! How fricking AMAZING!!!! And damn if the cover is so fricking shinny!!! It feels like a shiny silver fish!!! Also the trailer for this book is killer and I can’t wait to read this!

Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout- HELLO HOT FUCKING ALIEN BABIES!!!!! Yea baby!! I know I had an ARC of this but having a physical copy is just fucking awesome!!! I may have pet this and slept with it…maaaaaaaaaybe!!! You know I love this series and the links to my reviews are below!!! It’s so pretty!!!!

Empty Net by Toni Aleo & Shirt- So my amazing friend sent me this BEAUTY!!!!! I about craped myself because this book holds a special place in my heart!!! For those who don’t know, Toni allowed me to be her critique partner for this book so I have been with her on the whole journey but it’s AMAZING to see this book finished and in print!! I can’t tell you how amazing I feel this book is!! And I love you Toni!! Thanks for sending me Tate!!

Like I said, it has been a great couple weeks on the blog! I got three reviews posted (which make me so proud of myself) and its perfect timing for the release of Onyx by Jennifer.  I can't wait to post more reviews!! Also two GREAT covers posted! So speaking of my giveaway. It has taken me WAY to long to pick winners and I am going to rant a bit here. So I have FIANNLY verified all my winners. The list is below but I must say that I'm disgusted. I went though all 6000+ plus entries verifying that you actually did what you said you did. I had to remove over 1000+ entries because people did not do what they said. It’s quite disgusting. I only went through those worth more points (comments, email subscriptions, blog button stuff). I also had to remove 4 people completely because they made duplicate accounts and entered twice! SERIOUSLY?!?!?! I'm disgusted as all get out!!!!
